I am finally working from home! YAY! Eventually I won't have to do even that with the business I started up through Veritas Freedom University. :) I am really enjoying not having to drive, especially since fall is approaching and there will soon be ice on the ground again. Yuck to ice and snow! I hate the winter! It's also wonderful we don't have to worry about day care or babysitters anymore. The babysitter experience we had wasn't so great. Babysitters are generally unreliable and I don't think they should be used on a consistent basis. They are for, going on out a saturday night or something like that.
Todd just got a job with OnProcess in the past couple months and is loving it. He says it's very nice to be out of the manual labor jobs he was doing before and in a nice air conditioned office. Plus, he is being treated better now than he ever has been before. :) I'm happy for him. He seems genuinely happy with his work for once. The last time he was this happy about his job he was working at a residential facility for the mentally challenged. Unfortunately, they let him go for stupid reasons, and he choose not to look in that field again.
My sister is starting up her own business now. She's doing aesthetics and specializing in make-up, eye lash extensions, and I think skin care. I'm not sure. She just got certified in Phoenix, AZ for eye-lash extension work. I was very surprised she went all the way to Phoenix just to take this seminar on eye-lash extentions. Apparently, this allows the eyelashes to last for up to 2 months whereas the ones you buy and stick on from CVS only last about 5 days. So, she'll be marketting to rich people I'm sure because I doubt middle class or poor people have even heard of eye-lash extensions. My sister is such the beauty queen! And she's engaged to the perfect match too who is purusing a career in acting. I say...go for it! What they do is not my thing at all, but whatever makes them happy! I'm happy for both of them, and I certainly wish both of them luck in their very competetive fields. I will probably let Staci use my eyelashes for before/after pics for her portfolio to start up her business. Yes, that means I will be getting eye-lash extensions! Woohoo! :)
